Peer Professional Training

Cost: $399 for five days of in-person training.
Dates: TBD

This five-day, in-person course introduces the core skills and professional standards of peer-based recovery support. Participants learn the fundamentals of Advocacy, Ethical Responsibility, Mentoring & Education, Wellness & Recovery, and Harm Reduction—essential domains that prepare them to work effectively and ethically in the recovery field.

Graduates receive a Peer Professional Training Certificate from Hope for NH Recovery. While this course does not include the coursework required for CRSW certification, it provides a strong foundation for those pursuing professional roles in recovery support.

This training helps participants build confidence, skill, and purpose—transforming lived experience into meaningful, professional support for others.

CRSW Training

Cost: $599 for nine days of in-person training.
Dates: TBD

This nine-day, in-person course provides the educational hours required to apply for the Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) credential through the State of New Hampshire. Participants complete the full Peer Professional Training, plus additional classes in Ethics, Suicide Prevention, Mental Wellness, and Bloodborne Pathogen Safety—building advanced skills in professional practice, documentation, and recovery support.

While Hope for NH Recovery provides the training hours, the CRSW certification itself is issued by the state once all requirements are met.

This training equips participants with the knowledge, ethics, and professional readiness to make a lasting impact in the recovery community.
