Good hygiene is a must for both practitioner and recipient and a key factor in keeping your body healthy. Please be recently showered, have clean clothes and covering of any cuts with a band-aid to prevent the spread of germs and to maintain common respect and overall state of safety fo all involved.
Ear Seeds – Great introduction to acupuncture as this is a simple, non-invasive and gentle approach as seeds are applied to points on the ears that aid in relieving anxiety, increasing focus and relief from
physical discomfort.
Ear Acupuncture – Needles are applied 1cm beneath the skin to 5 median points that help reduce stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD and post-acute withdrawal symptoms.
Hand massage with application of CPTG essential oils to promote well-being; supports the body in returning to homeostasis, relaxes the body and mind reducing inflammation, anxiety and stress, strengthens the immune system and supports healthy autonomic (nervous system) function.

A fun, uplifting walking group that supports both body and mind. Gentle movement and fresh air promote mental clarity, physical wellness, and community connection. Walk together to build energy, reduce stress, and enjoy mindful moments in motion.
Gratitude groups, journaling prompts, group meditations, yoga, self-love groups, and metaphysical circles exploring astrology, crystals, and tarot.
We also offer sound healing, meditation with art, and more. Stop in to pull an oracle or tarot card for a daily message or weekly focus, or explore aromatherapy — the use of essential oils and scents to support mood, health, and well-being.
I’m the Wellness Coordinator. Our Wellness program brings recovery support and holistic care into the community — offering practices like ear acupuncture, yoga, meditation, reiki, and aromatherapy to promote balance, healing, and connection. Whether someone is taking their first steps in recovery or looking for new ways to strengthen their wellness, our program is here to meet people where they are and walk alongside them.
My goal is to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and treated with care. Wellness looks different for everyone, and I’m here to help others explore practices that bring them balance, healing, and connection on their recovery journey.

Laura Cooley of Orford, New Hampshire spent four years, from 2019-2022, holding ear acupuncture trainings for staff and the community at Hope for NH Recovery. Early in her career, she was mentored by psychiatrist and acupuncturist, Dr. Mike Smith the Lincoln Detox Program at the Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx.
Over the course of 30 years Laura trained over 700 people in the practice of the 5-point ear acupuncture treatment as an adjunct treatment for substance use disorder and to foster greater resilience and wellbeing. Her 2005 documentary captures the benefits of ear acupuncture to support communities dealing with disaster trauma. She worked with Fire and Rescue Workers in New York City after the September 11 attacks and in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
With a defiant spirit, Laura pushed through policies to expand access to ear acupuncture for as many people as possible in Texas, Louisiana, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the Province of Quebec.
